help!.....i am divorcing a man with npd(undiagnosed) and i feel as if i'm crazy & losing my mind.

Hello, Rose,
I know what you are going through and feel like. First: It's not you. You are not crazy. A narcissist is a champion at putting the blame on you, making others believe it is and feel entitled to punish you. They will do anything to you to come out of it ahead. What happens to you is minor if it counts at all. Fairness towards you does not exist when divorcing a narcissist.
You know who you are. Stand strong on that. Don't listen to him. Let your lawyer do the work. Put yourself in the mindset that you are dealing with a nasty, spoiled child throwing a temper tandrum... because you are! Don't let his accusations effect you psychologically. You did not do or say the things he said you did. Don't think twice about it.
You are not dealing with a stable person...remember that. Do not speak to him or give him any indication that you are upset and why. Don't show him where your soft spot is. He already knows too much. Put on heavy duty armour and keep it on until the divorce is over.
He may take you down financially. But, I assure you, you can get right back up on your feet. Give yourself time after the divorce to really look back, with the aid of an excellent therapist, and see how you got there to begin with. That's important. You can't be fooled by or involved with one again.
Again...Don't allow him to make you play the part he conditioned you to. Reach down inside and let the real, strong YOU emerge. Saving yourself is Number One! Cut your losses and get out quickly.
You CAN do this!
