Spiritual Teachers-Mount Everest of Narcissism

Today we have a plethora of individuals seeking spirituality and spiritual teachers to help lead them out of their daily mental, physical, psychological and emotional chaos toward deep internal peace and a strong sense of intuitive truth.  There are innumerable practitioners and teachers that span every aspect of eastern and western sacred orientations.  Every moment, a new seminar, lecture, camp, retreat, book, video, dvr, cd is made available to the public, promising that this time you will unlock the secrets to experiencing joy, freedom, wisdom and tranquility.

Many of the most successful, influential, and prolific spiritual teachers are narcissists. Those who have summited  the highest peaks in terms of their following and revenue are frequently high level narcissists. These individuals are fascinating in their ability to persuade most people that they are genuine and humble and that their overriding goal is your welfare.  Many of these teachers hold impressive degrees from the finest universities, have extensive spiritual training and practice, and are followed and admired by others who command  the highest  respect.

The narcissistic spiritual teacher is strictly out for himself or herself.  His goal is to increase his client/reader/speaker/seminar base and continue to swell his monetary returns.  His reach is global ; his horizons, endless---much like the view of  Himalayas from the summit of Everest.  He convincingly tells you that you will be among the chosen to reach the ultimate spiritual heights.

The high level narcissist that perches himself on the throne of  sacredness, is smooth and convincing.  These individuals present themselves as an irresistible package. They are physically attractive, have a resonant compelling voice, are masters of eye contact that hypnotically draws followers in, and  a mastery of words that soothes and comforts just enough to hook you.

Away from  the heady public world of spirituality, narcissistic practitioners reveal their true natures. They are cruel and manipulative with  those who work for them (paying little or nothing);  they are greedy and scoop up all incoming monetary resources;  they are dismissive and rude to "underlings' in their organization or others who cannot afford their seminar or workshop fees. They have highly brittle egos and expect total obedience and adulation at all times from everyone

Identifying, understanding and mastering  the tools to fearlessly and assertively  deal with the most clever narcissists, even those labeled "holy", will empower you  in every pathway of your life.  Visit my website:www.thenarcissistinyourlife.com
