Narcissist's Dark Inner Core

Beneath the narcissist's elaborate mask of confidence, entitlement, and magnetism, we discover voracious greed, volcanic rage and intractable feelings of emptiness. When the mask is removed, we behold a small child in full tantrum mode---demanding everything in reach. Remember, the narcissist has never grown up. On the outside he/she is highly accomplished. Inside he/she is a small enraged, inconsolable child. Visit my website:www.thenarcissistinyourlife.com

Wow! My NPD husband is just as you have stated "a small child in full tantrum mode---demanding everything in reach."
He is NEVER fully satisfied. He has gotten to the point now where he has to make sure that you get nothing more than he does, food or otherwise. He is consumed with ensure that everything in our relationship is a competition and that he wins. If something good happens to me and he can't see how he benefits, he goes into obvious sulking, and then anger. He truly is "a small enraged, inconsolable child."
